Why use an antioxidant on the scalp?

The scalp is one of the most exposed areas of skin on the body, facing daily UV exposure, pollution, hard water, heat styling, weather changes and friction from styling.

Over time, oxidative stress can contribute to dryness, tightness, discomfort and a weakened skin barrier. While a regular oil can help moisturise the scalp and reduce moisture loss, it does little to address the environmental stressors that may be contributing to those issues in the first place.

Chubby Oil does a lot more than your average hair oil. It combines a nourishing lipid base with a concentrated blend of modulating actives and antioxidants that help neutralise free radicals before they can contribute to ongoing oxidative stress, replenish moisture and support the skin barrier and overall scalp health.

Will it make my roots greasy?

No. The formula is an ultra-lightweight treatment designed to be washed out, so it won't weigh your hair down or leave any residue. Even a gentle shampoo cleanses everything away.

Can I leave it on overnight?

Yes. You can leave it on for longer than the minimum of 30 minutes to really let it do its thing.

Avoid the eye area, broken/burned skin or active irritation.

    amazing

    I'd always thought my itchy scalp was product build-up but it was probably irritation. I’ve been using this for about a month and now I can comfortably go for days between washes with no itching. I also think I’m getting more hair growth which is a great bonus.

    nice

    It's nice and not too greasy but I only apply it on the day I’m going to wash my hair and then tie my hair in a bun that day. My scalp is less dry now and I think my hair is shedding less but I need more time to observe

    good for itchy scalp

    I put this on my scalp at night then wash my hair in the morning. It seems to be working well so far as I definitely have a lot less scalp itchiness.

    Nice!

    This has been nice! My scalp is always flaky and the other scalp serums I’ve used never got rid of the flakes properly. I’ve been using these drops after washing my hair and the amount of flakes has already gone down.
